The last week has seen the People’s Republic of China (PRC) progress its efforts to expand its domestic electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing to Europe, along with component parts such as battery production, choosing Hungary as the location in which to establish its presence. Aside from trade, the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) diplomatic tentacles are spreading further into Latin America, as Beijing winches countries away from the United States (US) – a task which appears to be increasingly easy under the capriciousness of Donald Trump, President of the US.
